Fried Calamari

2 pounds of DelicaSea¨ Cleaned Calamari, cut into 1/2 inch rings
Leave the tentacles whole
3 cups of flour for coating
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 beaten egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying

Mix flour, salt and pepper together in a ziplock bag.
Mix the beaten egg into the evaporated milk.
Dip the Calamari pieces into the evaporated milk, then the flour and shake until the batch of squid is completed coated with the flour.
Place Calamari in a single layer in hot oil in a 10-inch frying pan and fry at a moderate heat until lightly browned. Turn carefully and cook the other side.
Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve with lemon wedges and your favorite cocktail or marinara sauce.
